This page sets out what this site can and cannot do around gambling, and where the controls that actually matter to a reader are located.
Scope
This site is a set of static pages describing operator listings. It has no account system, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch on or enforce any control over a reader's gambling. Anything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
Controls That Live Elsewhere
Tools such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has none of that infrastructure, so:
- nothing here can set a deposit or loss limit
- nothing here can trigger a reality check or a cooling-off period
- nothing here can register or check a self-exclusion
- a reader who wants any of these has to arrange it inside an account at the destination operator
Age
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. No age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it: any check of that kind happens at the destination, once a reader has followed an operator link there.
Before Following an Operator Link
Each of the 10 operator listings ends with the same warning: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice. Some practical points worth applying to any gambling decision:
- decide the amount before starting and treat it as spent, so the decision is made calmly rather than in the moment
- never chase a loss — trying to win back money already lost tends to increase the size of the loss, not recover it
- keep gambling out of borrowed money, so a loss cannot turn into a debt
- take breaks, since tiredness and long sessions make it harder to judge the size of a bet
- involve someone else early, while it is still entertainment and not a problem to fix alone
Independent Help
Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial: unlike the operator links they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.
